History of Short and Sweet

On Valentine's Day 2010, a simple pickup quartet spent the day singing to sweethearts all over the city. As Kirk Sugars, Lee Seligman, Dennis Ledbetter and Tony Waruszewski quickly found out they had a wonderful and blended sound. From the first chord to the last tag, they had a blast and on that historic day, decided to register the quartet. The quartet wasn't designed for competition but for fun and relaxation and decided their motto would be, "Entertain First, ask questions later!".
The name, "Short and Sweet", that was first given to them found a new ring as the lead associated the sweet part to his name. They still aren't quite sure who the short one is though...!".
Boasting of a repertoire of nearly 50 memorized tunes (not including the polecats) and 10 of them being completely unique as the Tenor arranges or composed some of the music for them, they can wow a crowd and sometimes even bring a tear to their eyes. Always trying new things and new ideas, they've been immortalized on a postage stamp, and will try anything that won't put our bass in jeopardy, health wise. |
